Just goes to show that a shit load of equipment doesn’t make you a good producer.

  • RICHboyMONTANA says:

how do I make and save kits to the mv so I won’t have to look for sounds everytime I make a track

  • KillBillakaNiteMare says:

    @YungCyfe I CONCUR!!!
But I will say, it is much easier to use equipment than software, but I find in combination it is the best way to go.

mr eazy beatz you say that the roland mv-8000 is an imitation of the mpc 5000.your a fuckin idiot and its obvious you dont know shit about gear cause the mv-8000 came out way before the mpc 5000.there both the shit and any real beat maker/producer wouldnt talk shit about a piece of gear cause everything can be used for something sooner or later.YOU FUCKIN SAP!!!!!!

Hey peeps I’m a beginner on the MV8800, I just recorded a pattern in pattern mode and I’m trying to make a song out of it in song mode..I cant seem to assign my different sound patterns on the velocity pads in song mode so that I can organize my sequence. When I go to pattern list i only see one pattern which is all my sound patterns playing simultaneously…but I trying to separate the different sound patterns and assign them to each pad for song creation…PLEASE HELP.

  • boomtomb says:

have you tried to copy the pattern multiple times and on different patterns mute and solo parts and etc, then try to convert them in song mode?

  • stronga1999 says:

yea i finally did!!! Thanks alot man!

  • boomtomb says:

fa sho, i was about to get rid of mine until i figured it out, i thought i share the info.

  • kaybronson100 says:

go to sequence mode and in the pattern list you can hit pad 1,2,3,4 etc & they’ll play the corresponding pattern.
go to song mode and hit f1 i think and create pattern track, hit shift + record and lay your patterns in one by one by hitting the pads (1,2,3,4 etc.) step recording style with the patterns.

  • MANKUB123 says:

    mV’S RULE MAN.

You can group in midi phrases too which then you can also softhens the start and end points for a smoother transition between your chops and pan all your chops.

    Nice beat.

Dont judge a sample, like it so true man.
    NICE VID

  • cablitz says:
