Even to much drum sounds and percussion can to much, keep it simple! This is the a&r’s are looking simple but different. Keep your intro’s no longer than 15 seconds.

miko’s arent hard to learn on..Its just a computer with synth built in and interface/pre-amp…you mostly just use software on it and sync it up with external gear…it has “mimic” though thats the dope part, you can hook up any synth and copy all the sounds from it…my production teacher helped design those..but i still love my MV…
Roland MV 8000 is more hands on.. I wouldn’t want to learn on a Miko… but I hope to graduate to one some day.. chop chop
