yeah that friggin sucks…. hiphop is dead and everyone’s investing in sp1200 :p
its actually only 10seconds…and you can only sample up to 2.5 seconds per sample..
doc is at it again
The EMU SP1200 is LEGENDARY. Epic even. This was used in the making of “Dead Presidents” beat by Ski
I got one of these a 909, 808 and a Yamaha rx8. I use the SP almost exclusively.
That was real slick!
Anybody know a website that give u all the basic to learn how to make music with that?
so,when it extends the sample,is it time stretching it?
with the Akai S 950…
no, it just loops a section of the sound.
ah,ok!
nope
get laid, you sound too uptight my nigger
real nice. that amazing sound i hear is that something you sampled or the piano tone built into the sp1200?
There are no built-in samples, you have to take sounds from recorded music.
so the sp doesn’t have piano, drums, kicks,hi hats etc already in the machines programming?
nope
i want this sooooooo bad
this gonna be my next pice of equipment..Im downgrading lol…this is THE piece…still
you sound like krs 1
Man, I always wanted one of these. I think there’s still a lot to be said for hands on music making. And though it’s a machine you can see hear how hands on it can be. I love that! Thanks for posting
