it has no sounds. it’s a midi controler, that means you need a programm like, reason, cubase or fl studio which loads the sounds on the pads.

how many sound does the mpd 24 have? and is the akai mpd 24 a drum machines only? or it have lots of sound sample such as drum, synthenzyer, guitar, piano. etc. i’m new to making music so i dunno thanx

yes. you can use the mpd through FL7 and FL8
