64 mb is more then enough to make a track, you must wannna load every program that you own. that ***** will take forever for the machine to boot .

u can actually use a certain type of laptop memory for the upgrade. check out a vid by christianaffiliate the vid is on the 1000 but maybe it will work for the 5000

yo yu shoulda kept yur daw programs with midi controllerr mpd 32, cause only thing your gettin different with tha mpc 5000 is the sequencer. I mean yu spent money you didnt have to spend ur beats were already pretty good, its all in skill and your head..
