ableton and a mac if u cant afford this
tell that to 9th wonder you bitch
a mac is damn near the same price as this thing and even more if you buy Ableton. I say get a MPC even you buy an older one like a 2000
u better watch how you talk to your father lil kid..no one is saying you gotta buy a mac and ableton..obviously the kid has a computer all he needs is ableton ,pro tools or reason. no one cares what you say cuz you use Fruity loops and your beats sound like 2 year olds made them.
hey man i was wondering if a mv 8800 is better or is akai mpc 5000 betta thanks man
It depends on what you wanna do.
who will use the 64/3 t.c
i dunno what to get guys? which is more better and more Stable? an Mpc 4000? or Mpc 5000?
and i know this is a mad question but turning it on, how easy is it to get makin a beat?
cos ive used the 500 and i sent it back took me like 4 hours to assign a snare to 1 pad and i cudnt see the screeen, so advice on them 2 things would be great thanks! ?
500 is a toy…. 4000 is better than 5k.
damn dude. Most important rule of production… It isnt what you use, its how you use what you have. You can have a million dollar setup but if you suck…. that million was wasted. Some of the best beatmakers I know use FL.
And the MPC5000 is Akais answer to the MV-8800. I own the MV-8800 and the 4000. The MV blows the doors off the MPC4000. I never had a chance to play with a 5000 so I cant tell you if thats better or not. BUT if the 5000 has the same issues (Screen and pad probs) then the MV will still be better.
yea just like how i can make a better beat than you with a stick and a garbage can JK BUT FOR REAL checkmy stats before you try to school me cuz i does this!. I wasn’t knockin FL.. i was replyin to the kid who hated on my comment..who was a fag who made shit beats with FL…i started with FL..and still have it in the Lab..but i got love fore it!
if you had that much trouble with the 500, you won’t do very well on the 4000 or 5000. they are much more advanced. put the time in to read the manual. you have to be mad patient
At the age of 41 and had ALL Mpc’s from 60 to 60 MK2 a 2000 and a 3000 you are perfectly right none of the mentioned come close to a 4000, it’s insane, the 5000 is nukai not Akai!!
agreed. do u have a 1000? i got a question about it
lol. fl aint shit to me…. i got friends who r killin it but im ol fashioned. mpc 4 me
mv is way better than 5000…. if u cant afford 8800 go wit 8000 – the only difference is the color screen. i got an mpc 1k but my friends use those mv’s….nasty machines man… RZA got one too lol
i aint say nuttin bout FL
Yep I have a 1000 also

FL = Fukin Lol
the 5000 is great but its big and heavy. i travel a lot and the mpc 1000 is perfect for that.
