I sold mine and got an MPC 2000 again, because of the fatter sound. Less features, of course, but at the end of the day the sound is what matters in this game.

bottom line. if you make bad beats on the MPC60, the MPC1000, or the MPC2500, then most likely you’ll make bad beats on the 5000 no matter what “new” features it has.
