cool , but looks so big for today standard
I want one
damn… akai dropped the ball on this one. seems kinda cheap and flimsy… nowhere near an mpc4000.
I will be getting minds soon. I have the 2500 MPC, so I know this one the one I will like just like the MPC 4000.
Im gonna wait for the MPK4900. MPC5000 plus MPK49 Keyboard contoller.
In fact, it’s actually a MPC3500 and the specs are pretty much an insult, because most of the specs are exactly like the MPC2500. They really dropped the ball on this one, a shame really..
what kind of CD-R drive can you use
the 4000 is way better this was to be the top of the line model and cant even beat the one that came out in 02
workflow und controllers are much better than on the 4000. but right on, it should have been named mpc 3500. dunno why they changed it at numark/akai. changes nothing from the 5000 being an adorable beast.
its not cheap and filmsy. faders and knobs are great, they move with good resistance. the mpc 5000 is made of solid dark blue steel and looks way better than my mpc 1000.
Why do you need MPK49 and not a normal midi keyboard? You have the pads on the mpc 5000
i dunno what to get guys? which is more better and more Stable? an Mpc 4000? or Mpc 5000?
and i know this is a mad question but turning it on, how easy is it to get makin a beat?
cos ive used the 500 and i sent it back took me like 4 hours to assign a snare to 1 pad and i cudnt see the screeen, so advice on them 2 things would be great thanks! ?
@Teknokeyz or you could just get a native instruments maschine with a decent laptop ….. just a thought. ( i considered getting an mpc 5000 or mv 8800 to upgrade from my current mpc setup … then i found maschine.)
