cool bird man
hey man how can i put my own sounds on the memory card?
you must be crazy ….. the 2000xl is much better than the 500 ,,,
i got a 3000le, just for portability
word up .. i feel ya on that 1 .. the 500 is cool for potability ,,
1 Thing about upping your ram with the card be VERY CAREFUL putting it in… I broke my clips VERY EASILY and it cost me like 300 to fix.
For you peeps below, befoe getting ANY mpc, ask yourself “what do I want to do with it?”
The MPC 500 is a GREAT machine, but it is limited in what it can do. Before deciding between a 500 or a 1000, you need to research on functions. 12 pads versus 16 pads can make a big difference. 500 has limited effects etc.
Right now the 500 is all I personally need but many people go for the 1000 because of 3rd party OS and sheer power of the 1000.
Big up on the videos Rios.
hey i just got mine and when i press the pads it wont make any noise. but when i play a certain song on like top gun or sunny itll work but the individual pads dont when on sunny or top gun. How i get them to work and make noise?
thx man i would love to have a bird like u haha
Thanx man! This is the sorta thing that’s really useful XD Great Work man
good post. good job
Thx man you helpt me alot <3
They need to get rid of the batteries an make a inturnal rechargable sours like a laptop.
Yo rios man I just got a mpc500 today. All I have is the machine. Do I need a mixer or can I just use speaker monitors to play my sound?
@josephtsykes make sure the samples are assigned to the pads in the program. Hold down the shift button and the pad that has program assigned to it. This will take you into program mode. You should be able to select params in the program mode. Afterwards select the pad you’d like to assign a sample to by touching the pad. The pad is consider a note assign number as well as a pad. If you’ve loaded any samples you can now scroll by turning the data wheel until your sample shows on the pad
that bird is rockin the fuck out
good shit bro
Man that bird, is killn me.
I just got one and mine did not come with any RAM in it
Will you tell me what kind of RAM it takes and what the max i can put in it please?
