dont worry man,just use what you got and make it happen,sometimes if you have too much top of the line gear,it can be overwhelming,and youll find its nearly impossible to make music.

is it possible to get 808 or oberheim sounds for the akai?
i’m assuming you mean the oberheim dx? IT’s got 808 sounds as presets. can’t remember if there are dx sounds, but you can find sample banks of people who have made their own online. What i usually do is borrow an old drum machine and make my own sample library, but there are tons online too.
