i own the jomox 888 as well. it’s an awesome machine but I wouldn’t compare it to the machinedrum in any way other than they are both drum machines. The machinedrum is an entirely different beast.

Don’t be put off by the MD’s “complexity”. It may be complex but it’s not COMPLICATED. It is seriously one of the most easy to use and learn pieces of gear I’ve ever had. I find myself writing beats in minutes that would have taken me hours or days on a computer or MPC.

great the stereo version (also mono, but…)

  • kellyssa3 says:

I like it so much. In which style we can classify this music?

    Good stuff

  • radambe says:

    thanks for the comments….

i have no idea about classifying anything

  • hsifylleg says:

    “Not quite minimal techno” :-)

I’ve seeen people get into flamewars about imperceptible differences in sounds (to most normal people) between different classifications – it’s the “music that radambe makes”. And good it is too.

  • kellyssa3 says:

Yes, it’s right. I think that I heard nothing of so nice. radambe music is my style.

  • ulostemuumio says:

I think at some point this used to be called techno. I suggest you stick with that, or acid. Acid rules, after all.

hi watching to your other videos i have to say that the jomox seems more real on basic stuff like bd snare etc..and machinedrum is nice for weird sounds as the MnM (which i own..)

  • lvngdead says:

is it possible to sequence on the machinedrum like you would sequence on a mpc?

  • neolojism says:

Where can I buy your stuff?

  • orteusz says:

Hi. I have akai mpc 2000xl , clavia nord modular and I have bought machinedrum mk2, but I have huge problem to connect them all together. May you explain me how I can do it? I want to use mpc as sequencer. Greetings.

  • cartesiaLive says:

MPC midi out -> machinedrum midi in
machinedrum midi thru -> nord midi in

then you set up things on your machinedrum/nord to only respond to certain midi channels.

do a google search for ‘midi tutorial’ or ‘midi beginners guide’

  • SLagerZahne says:

    Google MIDI
