I like the 3000,sp,60,s 950 and those are the machines real hip hop was made on!I have heard beats off of FL,the 2000,the 1000,I just do not like the sound because they sound light,the older machines have a heavier,warmer sound.That’s my opinion,and you have yours,but I’m not an idiot or in a box because I like what I like,that is what you fail to realize.I was saying keeping real hip hop alive because of the type of beats you make,not what you make em on.Understand now?

who cares what cats use to make whatever…if shit is ill shit is ill…but on the other hand..you cant front on the old sampler sound…theres alot of shit out there…and in alot of cases, a cpu program aint really going to do it for ya…its all in sound preference.

Every real producer knows that those machines aren’t what make it real. It’s the producer themselves. I’ve heard 9th wonder make shit sound like it was done on a 3000 and he did it all in FL Studio…
So yes you are correct it does not matter what you use it matters how you use what you use. Look at the south right now…usin 808 & 909 to make that pop shit
@extrahustle It does’nt matter what I say,you are gonna find sumthin to argue about so peace and good luck with that.I am not gonna name every sampler,I was telling u that I have heard dope stuff made off of other samplers,I jusy don’t like the sound of them.I LIKE THE OLD SAMPLER SOUND BECAUSE IT IS WARMER.PERIOD.That is all I was saying.I’m sure you wont be satisfied with that though.
