Dude. I have a 2000xl and have put in storage because it gets me so pissed off I want to snort ketamine. I need some solid instruction on the basics. All this video did was teach me how to read. Maybe it’s me but WTF?? The buttons already have labels so I know what the fuck they are. Give me something I can work with. I’m just annoted with this vidoe as I am with the Akai. Shit!

the mpc isnt only used to make drums. its used as an midi controller as well, you can load drumkits and samples onto the mpc and therefore putting it on the computer.
Just remember, the MPC stands for MIDI Production Center. You can make a drumline, chop a sample, or play bass and piano laced keys. People dont do it on the keyboard because the keyboard only comes with electronically produced drums and they dont really sound natural.
