I have just about every note worthy sampler to have come from akai, I got the S612, S950, S1000, and soon to have a S3000XL, and so far, the S612 by far has the warmest sound to it. Nothing can touch that beast, especially if you mix it with the Akai AX-60 analog synth singal path! Great track btw, Im just starting to get into making Deep House, with a touch of acid.

I have MPC2000xl and I have to say that MPC2000xl has a very distinctive sound. This sounds like my own MPC is playing a beat.

Thanks, I have to say though the sound quality of the MPC 2000XL is ***** though and have said this about various Akai’s, the MPC-3000 pisses all over the 2K. If you want a nice sampler to use with the 2K get a S950 or EMU E6400

Good I like hearing differant sheeit than the usual same-o same-o on the MPC. I like the Beat to.
