i’ve been tryin to get jj os 4 my 1000 n i keep gettin a link to free computer checkup where can i get jj os
Google this: MPC1000 JJOS
And its the first link.
thanks a lot for your help! if you made a dvd, i’d buy it. But thanks for the free info.
is it just me or does this guy blink like twice the whole video?
Got me there.
i need some advices. i used to make my beats with FL studio. but now i want to switch to hardware. first i wanted to buy the MPC 1000 but its to expensive for me (im a student). is the AKAI XR20 good for beginners? im really thinking about buying it. pls help me.
I would pick up a used MPC 500 before i’d ever consider a xr20. You can grab a used mpc 500 on ebay for about the same price as an xr20 new.
is there any other way because i cant get to jjos2 can i buy sum beats or drum i can download to it
@ramscvp I’m not sure i understand your question.
I have downloded jj os1 but how do I load jj os 1 to my cf card? Can’t find that info anywhere! Everyone suggests installing jj os, and then moves on without explaining how to thoroughly install it. Please help.
@flybry1 Copy the file to the main directory on your CF card, put the card in your mpc then Turn the power on while pressing down the WINDOW button
Press the REC button – the MPC1000 will start processing the update and will then re-boot automatically with the JJ OS.
I downloaded jj os, but I don’t have a password, I thought it was free?
hi… i just bought a mpc100 with the jj os 3.14… i have an akai manual and the jj os manual and wow… it is REALLY complicated (at least it seems as that)… do i need to buy a flash card in order to save my programs? the mpc camed with the 128mb upgrade… as well i am not sure if the best thing is to just read the akai manual or to just read the jj os manual… (one is 107 pages, the other is around 50)… uf, a lot of time spending, but for sure it will take its regards
hey would you recommend this as a beginning unit?
@johnzzy552 yes.
@princep JJOS is free. JJOS1, JJOS2 and JJOS2XL are not free. Each JJOS has multiple versions. The current versions are: JJOS v3.12 (free), JJOS1 v4.99L, JJOS2 v1.31, JJOS2XL v1.40. Hope that helps.
@mynmyself just jumping in to comment here… your mpc should have come with a quick start manual. i’d start with that.
@potissimus mmm, thanks! i bought it second hand so it doesnt come with the getting started manual, but i suppose that on google i will find it without any problem…
How do I remove it from my mpc?
this is rad man. thanks for all these tutorials
@mynmyself i’ll send you a link in your messages.
@potissimus wow man! thanks a lot!
@mynmyself you’re welcome. if you need the regular manual too, let me know and i’ll send you a link for that too. take care
@potissimus thanks man! its not necessary, i do have the regular one and a jj os1 and 2
